Don’t ignore the fact that Halloween is the 2nd largest holiday in the United States–embrace it. By planning a celebration, you can help reduce stress, build teams and shape a positive company culture. In a Society for Human Resource Management’s 2000 Benefits Survey, nearly 1/3 of employers reported having Halloween celebrations!
Hop on over to Women of HR and check out guest contributor Erin Palmer’s tips on how to handle Halloween parties in the office.
And if you find yourself in a “sticky” situation, read Joni Lucas’s article titled “Halloween Parties: A Tricky Treat” for more in-depth information.

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter is holding their annual golf outing on Monday, June 13, 2011. The outing will be held at The Legend at Brandybrook in Wales, Wisconsin. This outing will be one of the many events that JDRF holds to raise money to find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes, an autoimmune disease that strikes many children and adults every year with health complications that will last a lifetime.
Royal Recognition is a very proud sponsor of this wonderful event that is dedicated to finding a cure for Juvenile Diabetes. This years outing is hoping to be the most successful year yet with its fundraising efforts averaging around $150,000. All of the money that is raised by the golf outing and JDRF is disbursed to research facilities around the country in the hope of finding a cure.
The Cull Family JDRF Golf Outing starts with tournament registration followed by lunch and a shotgun start to the tournament. After the golf outing, there will be a silent and a live action, dinner and the award presentation for the winners of the event.
If you are interested in participating in the Cull Family JDRF Golf Classic or making a donation to JDRF, please contact the JDRF office at (414) 453.4673 or send an email to email@example.com for more information.
